Madhulita Mohapatra, Sahana performed three unique and beautiful pieces of Odissi,were the highlight of the day where everyone witnessed storytelling by means pure expressionism and emotions woven intriguely by subtle yet strong dance moves which felt like meditation in motion. "Medha’s first dancing step in her Odissi journey started in 2017 when we met Sahana. Her warm smiling welcome eased my 7year old, instantly. Little did I know then, the wealth of knowledge, experience and passion Sahana had for her dance. The more we attended her dance recitals, the more we were enamoured by her style, strength, and poise. Her recent foray into Dance drama was brilliant. She enraptured us audience with her beauty, grace and stage presence. It speaks volumes of her creative side, with a strong foundation in classical dance.
It’s been three wonderful years with Sahana and Nrityantar. I am slowly beginning to see my daughter’s metamorphosis. It’s all credit to Sahana’s patient and structured teaching. I imagine it’s going to be many more years of knowing her.
