Nature Calling!

Nature called us and yes we decided to Go!!

Dates back to 2015 July, our road trip from Bangalore to Leh Ladakh in our Fiat Punto. It’s been five yrs but memories are so fresh in our mind.

Thought of penning down few unforgettable moments from the same. These clicks were captured while driving from Mandi To Rohtang..

We were stuck in Srinagar for 3 days because of landslide in Sonmarg which made us drive all the way from Srinagar to Himachal Pradesh in one day. Ahhh...!! What a driving it was. There was heavy rain in Srinagar on that day morning and traffic on the way as there was a landslide. Finally, we reached around 1 am to Mandi. Slept for four hrs and again wrapped up, started to the Mighty Rohtang. Though we were sleep deprived the captivating beauty of mandi kept us energized. The Bias river gave us company till Manali by her full spate flow between the spectacular lush green mountain valley surrounded by thick fog, it was looking like sky and river were merging into one❤️

Snow capped mountains and those curvy roads were embracing us, by this mood we started climbing the Mighty Rohtang La, highest mountain pass of 3,980 m Pir Panjal Range of Himalayas, as we were ascending weather changed rapidly, started raining, there was Slush and mud on the road, dense fog covered the whole area which made Zero Visibility. we were completely clueless on, which vehicle is ahead of us or coming in opposite direction. It was scary and adventurous. As were approaching to top, the elevated look was spectacular. All the hurdles that we passed to reach was paid off. Our target was to reach Keylong and we were mentally prepared that descending would be more challenging and roads would be pretty bad but still we made sure that we enjoyed the eye catching view of Lahaul and Spithi valley and completely lost in nature for few minutes..

As you go higher and higher the view that you get see in life is something amazing! higher i meant here from all the aspects, be it from your thoughts or be it from your nature of well being, the Elevated look always gives different perspective. Reaching the heights or what future has got for us is completely illusion, we could think of the possibilities and work on process of reaching so lets Enjoy bit and pieces of it and feel content.
