After close to death Adventure like Crossing a deadly waterfall on the road, oh god! i still get goosebumps if i imagine that moment, well after that, spotting Deepak tal Was truly a treat to us.
Deepak tal is a not so famous but yet so serene and calm lake situated in between keylong & Zingzang bar.
Water was so pure and the reflection of the mountains around was clearly seen in water. It was a perfect place to have some "Me" time! but unfortunately we had to rush back on wheels as we were afraid of unexpected weather changes could put us into trouble and also we had a long way to go! and moreover we were hungry too.
We stopped by the tent near Sarchu and Maggie is only option you could get in these remote places and trust me it tastes so good and yummy than ever before. Happy Tummy Happy Us! We were so energized for the rest of the journey.
Baralacha la is the highest mountain pass in Zanskar range connects himachal pradesh to ladakh. Blue sky, designed Clouds, snow mountains, the super cold breeze, water streams which was flowing on the road Gosh! Added to it there was One more Eye catching green emerald lake called Suraj Tal (Sun Lake) which is located below the Baralacha la pass consider to be the third highest lake in India.Its also a Source of Bhaga River.
I could not stop myself, the child in me had insisted me to play in water streams so just got down from the car and immersed in joy!
Well, Our plan of the day was reaching Leh on the same day but we didn't know that our destiny had Different plan for us. Yes! Again land slide & snow fall in the Pass so we had to stay back in the place called Pang. Stay i meant not in hotels or something, staying in a basic tent. and that is only luxury you get there. It was freeing cold and we were little tensed as our fellow traveler was a four year old kid. Yes my Son! Luckily he managed it so well. I must say he was a great companion for me and my husband throughout the journey. Yeah coming back to the story, next day we made the plan along with the Four Bikers who rode all the way from Bangalore, decided together to take a different route which is little longer than normal. Fueled up and started again. We were so mesmerized with the beauty of mountain ranges and i couldn't take my hands off from camera. Creator has created the nature in such a way that each mountains were different from other, which is beyond our imagination.
With all these loads of amazing experiences, we finally reached Leh! and the joy that we felt was cannot be put in words.
